Midtown-Punk Rock

Midtown was an American band based out of Springfield, New Jersey. The band was originally formed by three students from Rutger's University. Soon after the formation, they became a quartet. In 1999, their first EP, "The Sacrifice of Life" was released by Pinball Records. In 2000, their debut album, "Save The Girl, Lose The World" was released by Drive Thru Records. When they released their third album,"Living Well Is The Best Revenge" in 2002, they were part of MCA Records. In 2004, their final album, "Forget What You Know" was released and soon after, disbanded. "Forget What You Know" was actually recorded without a label but was later taken by Columbia Records. When disbanded, Gabe Saporta became the lead singer for the well known synthpop band, Cobra Starship and Heath Saraceno, the former guitarist became a member of the Emo/Rock band Senses Fail. In 2009, Heath left the band in order to pursue other personal goals.
